Beloved pop-up bakery Ben's Bread will open a permanent bakery in Seattle's Phinney Ridge neighborhood in July 2023.
Ben's Bread, started in 2015 as a basement side-hustle by Ben and Sarah Jones, will soon grow into Phinney Ridge brick and mortar bakery. Scheduled to open in July 2023, the bakery at 216 N 70th Street in Seattle will offer Ben's Bread favorites that have previously been available exclusively through pop-up events. The bakery's open date is yet to be announced.
"Ben's Bread has been a labor of love in many ways," says Ben and Sarah Jones. "The goodness that comes out of Ben's oven every week is more than just flour, water, and salt. It is a marriage of time, patience, and caring, not just by us, but by the farmers, millers, and even our community of local grain enthusiasts."
Breads and pastries baked by Ben's Bread are made with ingredients from Washington State farmers and millers, such as Cairnspring Mills, Smalls Family Farm, and Fairhaven Mills.
