This week's recommendation isn't new to the Seattle area. In fact, they've been open nearly three decades, but temporarily closed after a car crashed through their front door in 2022. After completing renovations throughout the restaurant, they've recently reopened.
A car crashed into Coastal Kitchen's Capitol Hill restaurant in mid-2022, and after months of work the nearly 30-year-old fish house and oyster bar has reopened with a renovated dining room.
Coastal Kitchen is well known for their weekend brunch, fish and chips, and oysters on the half shell. Notable menu items to try when you visit next include the Pan Seared Halibut, Drunken Brussels, and the 'Party Like It's 1889' mezcal cocktail.
