After closing at the start of the pandemic for a multi-year hiatus, this nearly 30 year old restaurant is reopening in Downtown Seattle this weekend.
Palace Kitchen, the widely celebrated restaurant founded in 1996 by Seattle acclaimed chef and restauranteur Tom Douglas, is scheduled to reopen this weekend after a three-year hiatus.
Palace Kitchen has served Seattle locals, visitors, and celebrities alike for nearly 30 years, welcoming the likes of former President Barack Obama, Martha Stewart, Tom Hanks, Anthony Bourdain, Drew Barrymore... the list goes on.
Those whoo have have visited previously will be pleased to know that the team behind Palace Kitchen intends to reopen with many of their classic menu favorites. While the official menu is yet to be shared, you can expect to find the Palace Burger (their stacked cheeseburger made with Painted Hills beef, Beecher's Flagship cheddar, caramelized onions, and pickles), Cedar Plank-Roasted Wild King Salmon, Goat Cheese Fondue, Wood-Grilled Chicken, Stuffed Pasta, and Duck Liver S'Mores, among other dishes.
