The Seattle restaurant scene is always evolving, with new and exciting openings happening all the time. We get it, keeping up is difficult. That's why we started Taste Message, to text you the newest and greatest restaurant openings right here in Seattle (and it's free!).
Without further ado, here are five of the newest restaurants in town that you should know about.
Hellenika Cultured Creamery
If you're a fan of Ellenos Greek Yogurt, you're in for a sweet treat with Hellenika Cultured Creamery. Opened by Ellenos cofounder Alex Apostolopoulos, Hellenika serves up rich, gelato-like frozen yogurt at their new stand at Pike Place Market. Crowds are already swarming for flavors like coconut ube, marionberry, and london fog.

Moto Pizza
Filipino pizzeria Moto Pizza has a rabid following, and their hard-to-get pizzas are notorious for a months-long waiting list. Moto's self-described "odd pizza" comes with topping choices such as beef adobo and "clam chowdah" for anyone willing to plan ahead. If you aren't a planner, we've got good news: they just opened a new location in Belltown that serves walk-up orders only.
Bar Bayonne
Sister restaurant to L'Oursin, Bar Bayonne is now open in the former site of Capercaillie. Similar to L'Oursin, the restaurant serves a French-inspired menu and specializes in sandwiches, quiche, fresh oysters, and steamed mussels. In addition to serving meals, a small market area offers French butters, pate, and more.

Sandia
Just a few steps from the Burke Gilman Trail is Sandia, a new restaurant on NE 45th Street. The Mexican-inspired menu is bright, flavorful, and sure to please with classics such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and more. The owners say that sandia means "Watermelon," which "symbolizes an abundance of fun, family, health, and nutrition."
Jackson Street Pizza Lounge
Michael Genardini and Donald Dulligan, both former employees of Ethan Stowell restaurants, have opened Jackson Street Pizza Lounge in Seattle's Central District. The pizzas are no nonsense and feature a variety of topping options from carbonara to classic tomato pie. The cocktails are unique and at $13 each, reasonably priced for Seattle.
